Answer the questions to find out if you are a Recycling Hero.
You must answer YES to all five questions for your family to enter the Recycling Hero monthly drawing for $50.*
- Do you limit trash to one barrel (or equivalent) every week?
- Do you recycle all your clean paper, cardboard, bottles, cans, and plastic containers?
- Do you compost fruit and vegetable scraps, tea bags, coffee grounds, and eggshells?
- Do you take used household electronics and hazardous waste to the special collections?
- Do you find recycling outlets for non-curbside recyclables?
Congratulations! If you answered YES to all five questions, you are a Recycling Hero! You are eligible to enter the Recycling Hero drawing for $50 (one time). Send your name, address, phone, and email address to recyclinghero@westfordrecycles.org.
* One name will be drawn every month for $50 until further notice. Non-winning Recycling Heroes' names will remain for future drawings. You may enter the Recycling Hero drawing only once. A family (one address) can win $50 only once.
The winning Recycling Hero -
- Must have only one barrel of trash and at least one bin or toter of recyclables at curbside for pickup when checked.
- Will be interviewed and publicized with their recycling tips.
- Will be added to the Recycling Hero Honor Roll.
